Teach him how to fish and you feed him for life,” summarizes the primary intent of teaching the 7th Path system. Once you have learned how to use the 7th Path system, you can keep yourself free from erroneous programming in the future, and use self- hypnosis to help you to reach almost any goal that you care to achieve in the future. It was designed to be part of a Mind, Body and Spirit and works best for those who believe in some kind of higher power, but any such belief in a ‘Higher Power’ is not required. This will be discussed in more detail shortly, but let it suffice for now to say that a spiritual approach is not necessary for successful use of the 7th Path system. One can simply focus on natural concepts rather than the spiritual and it still works fine. This is especially true for the first five steps (There are a total of 9 steps or Recognitions) that you you learn during the Basic Workshop. Moving beyond the first 5 steps (Advanced Workshop) may require a spiritual belief system of some kind. But I believe that if someone really wanted to use all the steps and do it without any kind of spiritual concept, she could do so. This will become clear as you learn about the system. I belabour the point because I want to be very sensitive to the rights and concerns of anyone who might come in contact with the system. It is possible to misunderstand what is going on here and think that the 7th Path system is some kind of religion in and of itself it is not. But it is a way of integrating your particular religious or spiritual beliefs into this process of self-improvement. It is meant to be complementary to the beliefs that you already hold. It is a way to use your highest beliefs and bring them more actively into your everyday life. Why Bring Spirituality Into This At All? At our Centre, we like to promote the use of a Mind, body and Spirit approach whenever it is acceptable to our clients. This is because using such high concepts and beliefs seem to promote a faster, more powerful, and more permanent change. We do not promote or discourage any particular belief system. The individuals who are a part of our organization themselves come from a variety of beliefs, and we intend to respect them all. Your 7th Path Teacher is very thoughtful and understanding in this area. She is trained to work with you whether you want to use a spiritual approach or not. She should be able to work with you and whatever belief system you have, even if you prefer not to reveal what that is. Practitioners of the 7th Path system should feel very comfortable using the 7th Path system no matter what religious background he or she comes from (even none at all). All that being said, the 7th Path system can be a very spiritual practice if that is your intent. In addition to being a very powerful system of personal change, some who have learned the 7th Path system have taken it to another level and used it in groups, where the different practitioners get together and do it as a group practice. This kind of group practice reportedly feels very supportive in nature. Some things are just nice to do together and 7th Path practice seems to be one of them. If you enjoy working together in groups, then this approach may be just what you wanted. On the other hand, if you prefer to practice in privacy that is also a wonderful way to experience The Path. Some practitioners have even adopted 7th Path as a devotional practice (e.g., clergy, nuns, and laypersons). In this form, people from all over the world, from any of the major religious or spiritual backgrounds, can gather together and do this. Again, this is not encouraged or discouraged. Nor is it required. It is mentioned here for your personal information. What Can The 7th Path System Do For Me? It is impossible to guarantee results. Everyone is so different and your intent is very important at this time, (because we simply have not had sufficient experience in this area) we are not recommending the use of the 7th Path system for anyone who has a serious metal illness. If you have received such a diagnosis, then you should only do this practice under the supervision of your attending physician or mental health professional such as a Psychologist or Counsellor. Because of the powerful and emotional nature of this practice, individuals with such mental illness may not benefit from the practice and may even make the illness worse. Examples of serious mental illness are, but not limited to: Major Depression, Schizophrenia, and Borderline Personality Disorder. The 7th Path system sets you free from old patterns that have limited you up to this point in almost any area of your life. It also lets you choose what kind of new patterns and beliefs you would like to establish and reinforce for ongoing personal improvement and change. It can also provide you with new spiritual direction in your life and a feeling of connection to your higher power. (I will no longer discuss how spirituality is not required but helpful; I think that I have said enough about that.) The Removal Of Stress Is Part Of The Program. A side effect that seems to be associated with regular use of this system is a feeling of calm, often described as feeling more relaxed, patient and peaceful, or in control. As stress is removed from your body in the form of old useless emotions, there is a tendency toward health and optimism. As stress is removed from your body and nervous system, some physical changes, both temporary and permanent may occur. Temporary physical experiences may include the jerking of the arm or a leg while doing hypnosis you may notice changes to your digestive tract and elimination process. The key word here is temporary. Your body and nervous system are adjusting to a healthier state. Permanent changes include loss of a pattern of headaches, muscle pain and joint pain. Symptoms associated with stress induced illness are usually greatly reduced or completely eliminated. We cannot say that these things will happen just that they have been reported by many of the practitioners. 7th Path is not intended or recommended as an alternative to any medical process procedure or program but may be used as a compliment to any medical condition with stress reduction may improve your condition. Consult with your physician if you want to use 7th Path to complement any medical intervention. We will be happy to work with your physician. Other physicians have reported benefits of using 7th Path along with a medical approach. Why do we only get 5 out of the 9 Recognitions at the Basic Workshop ? Basic: You will learn 5 short form Recognitions. 7th Path is different from traditional self-hypnosis. It's easier than learning ordinary self-hypnosis from a book because when you try to learn it from a book, you always wonder if you are really doing it right. A 7th Path trained hypnotherapist teaches you the techniques, including how to go into hypnosis, while you are in hypnosis! Then when you first emerge from hypnosis, you immediately use the technique to take yourself back into hypnosis. This is the easiest time to go into hypnosis. Results are almost automatic! The hypnotherapist is there to make sure you are doing it right and to answer any questions that you might have, right then and there. One of the problems with other forms of self- hypnosis is that the hypnotic suggestions that you give yourself must go up against years of old programming. The old programming does not want to go, and the new suggestions are rejected time and time again before, through many repetitions, the new suggestions are finally accepted (or maybe not even then). How much old erroneous programming do you have? Experience has shown us it varies from person to person and the biggest surprise is just how much each of us is holding. The 9 Recogitions are very powerful and need to be used in a structured and managed process so you can do what you want to do, effectively and efficiently without being overwhelmed. Even the first 5 Recognitions in short form will take you 5 weeks to fully implement after the course. That is a commitment you will need to make. If you are not really all that spiritual in your belief systems, that is okay. If you are a spiritual person, those beliefs can be a very important part of your changes; especially when the changes that you want to make will make you a better or healthier person. The 7th Path system is easy to learn, forgiving in application and structured for the individual by simply making a few adjustments, which you will be shown how to do. 7th Path Practitioners report results including the following: o Overcome bad habits such as smoking, nail biting, excessive snacking, procrastinating, and over sleeping. o Create new habits such as exercising regularly, self-motivation, being more patient with others and more. o Self-improvement such as improving self-confidence, reducing stress, public speaking, over come fears, and more

Yet how many decisions do you make – or not make – based on how others will view you? Yes, your ego is present in your life and it’s almost surely inhibiting your ability to create a happy reality. If you’ve tried the Law of Attraction, you may have decided it doesn’t work. It does work. Yes, it is simple. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy. Most people will push away happiness if it threatens their ego. When people are fearful about not receiving what they desire, they’re likely to focus on the lack of what they want rather the joy of having what they want. Many people sincerely want to change, but keep sliding back into unproductive repetitive behavior because it’s safer and the results are more certain.
